RegressionBandTouch

Concept

RegressionBandTouch uses the regression channel from the SupRes context and waits for price to touch an outer band.

Idea

• A long setup appears when price touches the lower regression band within a configurable tolerance.
• A short setup appears when price touches the upper regression band.

The model can optionally require:

• bullish M5 and M15 bias for longs
• bearish M5 and M15 bias for shorts
• a minimum trend-strength threshold when bias alignment is enabled
• candle close confirmation instead of pure touch-only entry

Genetic Algorithm Parameters

• Tolerance to the regression band in pips
• Whether M5 and M15 bias must align
• Minimum bias strength
• Whether candle close confirmation is required

Best suited for

• symbols with clean regression-channel behavior
• pullback or channel-touch style entries
• traders who want band-touch entries with optional higher-timeframe bias
